HHU provides two levels of sponsorship:

  • $35 Cdn/month - for students enrolled in primary school
  • $40 Cdn/month - for students enrolled in secondary school

Individuals or families who fund a child will be provided with background information on the child and his/her family, photos and updates of the child including a copy of the child’s report card, and opportunities to correspond to the child or family.  HHU will also provide at least one opportunity each year to send a small gift to the child.

In most cases, some excess funds will be available at the end of the school year.  Efforts will be made to use these funds when appropriate to support the child’s family through a business opportunity or other means of support.  When not deemed necessary for family support, the excess funds will, up to a maximum of 15% and with your permission, be transferred to the General Fund of HHU.  This Fund will be used to build an account for the future purchase of a vehicle or pay for administrative and rental costs.  However, HHU is hoping that all administrative costs will be provided through …

“BRICK” Donations for Monthly Expenses

HHU seeks businesses and individuals willing to provide funds to cover a number of set costs anticipated in the day to day operation of HHU.  These include the salaries of our 3 Ugandan nationals, rent, food, transportation and the like.dsc_0507

Donations for Kimi’s Personal Use

Kimi serves as a volunteer and, as such, she does not receive a salary.  Individuals may provide finances to support Kimi personally, but these funds will not be tax deductible.
