Eric lives in a small village in the sub county of Bugembe, which is about five kilometres northeast of Jinja.  His father was killed at his job in 2008 and since then his mother has been struggling to take care of her eight children.  She cannot afford to pay Eric’s school fees as he begins secondary school.
