Meet the Kids
Any visitor to Uganda is moved by the nation’s beautiful children. Children appear to be everywhere, eager to greet newcomers and offer a trusting smile.
But one might also note the number of school-aged children who are wandering the roads and villages without access to schooling.
A closer look at Ugandan society reveals that a whole strata of society seems to be missing with many children being raised by grandparents.
HHU is providing funds for school tuition and the many associated expenses for 90 children whose families cannot afford the costs. Ibra, Sharifati and Franco are three of these children.
