- Ibra

house-004One would be hard-pressed to find anyone in East Africa more excited about the opportunity to go to school than Ibra.

Kimi has known Ibra since first arriving in Uganda in 2007.  He lived in the neighbourhood but had no means to attend school.

Every offer of assistance, whether a supply of food or soap to the family or a simple pair of sandals ($2.50 Cdn) was received with overwhelming excitement, gratitude and joy.

Since his selection for schooling sponsorship, Ibra has shared his good fortune with unrivalled enthusiasm to everyone in the village, many times over.

Ibra is now a proud student, thanks to the sponsorship provided by Kristy who visited Ibra in October of 2009.
