Paul lives in a small village about five kilometres east of Jinja. His father passed away from lung cancer in 2008 and he is now living with his mother and some of his siblings. His mother sells food but does not make enough money to pay school fees for her children. Paul has been working to pay his own fees but the man who he has been working for recently refused to pay him. Paul is the only person in his family who is currently in school.
